No previous photography experience is required. Students will learn step-by-step, with an emphasis on practical skills they can use both professionally and in their everyday photography.
Photography can be a flexible career that allows you to work independently, build your own business, or start as a side business alongside another job. It can be especially well suited to those looking for a creative profession with flexible working hours, including young mothers.
This course is designed to give students the practical skills they need to become confident, professional photographers. Starting with the basics of camera operation, students will learn how to work with light, composition, people, children and families, and gradually move into studio and newborn photography.
The course focuses on the skills needed beyond taking the photo itself, including AI editing tools, Photoshop, album design, print preparation, and building a professional portfolio and website.
